Fantastic, interactive way to study. My only wish is for larger pictures of the forearm, foot, and leg when being asked to identify the intricate muscles that control th hand and foot.

I bought this app and also downloaded the anatomy free version. Unfortunately both are not working, they do not seem to sync on my ipod. please fix it so I can enjoy the game as much as I do for speed bones!!
Both the bones and the muscles are exellent reviews. Im in medical school right now and am going to take boards next year and this is just what I needed to stay sharp on the basics. Im looking forward to other systems. Please hurry
This app, along with its companion, have been for helpful to me than I can articulate. Speaking as someone who is not even a doctor or other health care professional, this is the best couple of bucks youll ever spend.
I would like to see more detail in the future when it comes to the leg muscles. Instead of grouping the hamstrings together they should be listed seperate, bicep femoris, etc and the same for quads, rectus femoris and so on. When are you going to add muscles that arent in this version?? Also the option to browse muscles at our own pace would be nice. All in all, both speed muscles and bones are great apps!!
I am studying to get my personal trainer certification. Origin/Insertion/Action qwizzing would be awesome. This is a great start!
I am in medical massage school and speed bones and speed muscles are a great way to study while on the go. Anytime i have a few min i pick a section to review. They are really helping me in my anatomy and physiology class. Thanks!
This app rocks!!!!!
I bought speed bones as well and love them both. Would pay for origin/insertion/actions.
Me likey dis...
Cool app, need a zoomed image though... Could sub occipitals and hip rotators, forearms and lower leg muscles be any smaller?! Origins/insertions, primary function? How bout listing muscle areas instead of the level system so you can see what you want to study instead of guessing...
I agree with slamdaddys review #2... Its really nice but the leg muscles should be more detailed and you guys should add origin/insertion/action for bunch of muscles.. Great for learning muscles!!
Many more muscled that are completely left out. It gets very detailed with the hand and feet but misses many muscles in the upper body. I would also like to see the body vary the position. Maybe a running position or with legs crossed sitting in a chair. It would be a great challenge to have each question with a different picture rotated in. That would make it really hard! Hopefully it gets updated but seems doubtful with few people reviewing this program.
A similar game for acupuncture points may be interesting!
I used this and Speed Bones for an anatomy class I am taking and found Speed Bones to be most useful. Origin/Insertion/Action would make this a 5-star app, as that is generally what you will be tested on in school.
I downloaded every app from this company and all are helpful to me. I sit on the subway and I mess with this app to and from. I feel as though this particular app is missing information. It just doesnt seem thorough with the muscle groups within the upper torso. Either way I love all 4 apps and hope to see more updates and expansions. Thanks
No more newspapers on the R train. Just all these cool apps. Keep up the good work
I have all 4 apps and love them but I would like to see maybe some Origen/insertion questions on the muscles, some bigger pics to see where I am tapping, and maybe a review section for those people that want to use it as a learning tool more thn as a game. It is great to test ur knowledge and review quick if u have taken a class, but if u havent it is too much of a guessing game. Hope to see some teaching section added to it... Great job otherwise!
Much better then staring at a text book. I learned my muscles quick and it made anatomy a breeze. I love it and Im sure Ill use it all through nursing school !
I have purchased the whole series (vessels MD, Bones MD, Muscles MD, and anatomy). They are all pretty good and will challenge your anatomy skills (about college/undergraduate level). However, the picture resolution is extremely low. This makes it difficult to locate many parts. And, even after it reveals the answers I think "really, I was suppose to find that". You can barely see it (even highlighted). This is my #1 complaint. There are other minor things which would all be fixed with better pictures.
